Microsoft Surface Pro 2: “No Battery Detected” Error

If your Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is displaying a “No Battery Detected” error, try the following:

  1. Turn off the Surface Pro 2
  2. Hold the Volume Up and the Power buttons for 15 seconds. The Surface logo may flash, but continue to hold both buttons for 15 seconds.
  3. Release both buttons.
  4. Wait for 10 seconds.
  5. Turn on the Surface Pro 2.
